Europa League 2017-18 : Viktoria Plzen defeats Hapoel 3-1

PLZEň, Sep. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Viktoria Plzen defeated Hapoel Be'er Sheva by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Doosan Arena in Plzeň.

Viktoria Plzen dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Petrzela Milan in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Viktorka further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Kopic Jan '76 and Bakos Marek '89).

The result left both teams tied in the second place of Group G with 3 points. In their next game, Hapoel Be'er Sheva will meet group leaders Steaua Bucuresti at the Doosan Arena on October 19, while Viktoria Plzen will face Lugano.
