Europa League 2017-18 : Viktoria Plzen beats Lugano 4-1

PLZEň, Nov. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Viktoria Plzen defeated Lugano by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Doosan Arena in Plzeň.

Krmenčík scored dual goals

Viktoria Plzen dominated the first half thanks to goals from Krmenčík ('4, '19) and Hořava ('45). Leading 3-1 at the break, Viktorka further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Čermák in the 56th minute.

The result put Viktoria Plzen second in Group G with 6 points. Lugano is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Viktoria Plzen will meet group leaders Steaua Bucuresti at the Doosan Arena on November 23, while Lugano will face Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
