Europa League 2017-18 : Arsenal beats FC Köln 3-1

LONDON, Sep. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Arsenal defeated FC Köln by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Emirates Stadium in London.

FC Köln had started off well by taking the lead in the 9th minute with a goal by Córdoba. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Gunners nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Kolasinac '49, Sánchez '67 and Bellerín '82).

The result put Arsenal top of Group H with 3 points. In their next game, Arsenal will meet second-placed BATE Borisov at the Emirates Stadium on September 28, while FC Köln will face Red Star Belgrade.
