COLOGNE, Nov. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : FC Köln defeated Arsenal by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by French forward Sehrou Guirassy on penalty in the 62nd minute.
The result put Arsenal top of Group H with 10 points. FC Köln is second with 6 points. In their last game, Arsenal will meet BATE Borisov at the RheinEnergieStadion on December 7, while FC Köln will face Red Star Belgrade.
