Europa League 2017-18 : Marseille beats Konyaspor 1-0

MARSEILLE, Sep. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Marseille defeated Konyaspor by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Marseille defender Adil Rami in the 48th minute.

The result put Marseille top of Group I with 3 points. In their next game, Marseille will meet second-placed Red Bull Salzburg at the Stade Vélodrome on September 28, while Konyaspor will face Vitoria Guimaraes.
