Europa League 2017-18 : Red Bull Salzburg beats Konyaspor 2-0

KONYA, Oct. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Red Bull Salzburg defeated Konyaspor by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Konya Metropolitan Stadium.

Red Bull Salzburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gulbrandsen Fredrik in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Roten Bullen” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dabbur Munas with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Red Bull Salzburg top of Group I with 7 points. Konyaspor is third with 3 points. In their next game, Red Bull Salzburg will meet third-placed Konyaspor at the Konya Metropolitan Stadium on November 2, while Konyaspor will face Red Bull Salzburg.
