GUIMARAES, Nov. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Vitoria Guimaraes defeated Marseille by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Dom Afonso Henriques Stadium in Guimaraes.

Marseille made Vitoria Guimaraes doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Hurtado with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Marseille second in Group I with 6 points. Guimaraes is third with 4 points. In their next game, Marseille will meet Konyaspor at the Dom Afonso Henriques Stadium on November 23, while Vitoria Guimaraes will face Red Bull Salzburg.
