Europa League 2017-18 : Bilbao beats ÖFK 1-0

BILBAO, Nov. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Athletic Bilbao defeated Östersunds by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Athletic Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz in the 70th minute.

The result put ÖFK top of Group J with 7 points. Bilbao is third with 5 points. In their next game, Östersunds will meet second-placed Zorya Luhansk at the San Mamés Stadium on November 23, while Athletic Bilbao will face Hertha Berlin.
