Europa League 2017-18 : Lazio beats Vitesse 3-2
ARNHEM, Sep. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Lazio defeated Vitesse by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 0-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the GelreDome in Arnhem.
Vitesse had started off well by taking the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by Slovenian forward Tim Matavž. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Biancocelesti nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Parolo '51, Immobile '67 and Murgia '75).
The result put Lazio second in Group K with 3 points. In their next game, Lazio will meet Zulte Waregem at the GelreDome on September 28, while Vitesse will face Nice.
