Europa League 2017-18 : Nice beats Vitesse 3-0

NICE, Sep. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Nice defeated Vitesse by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.

Alassane Pléa scored dual goals

Nice dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pléa ('16) and Saint-Maximin ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, Nice players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Pléa with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Nice top of Group K with 6 points. Vitesse is third with no points. In their next game, Nice will meet second-placed Lazio at the Allianz Riviera on October 19, while Vitesse will face Zulte Waregem.
