Europa League 2017-18 : Lazio beats Nice 3-1

NICE, Oct. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Lazio defeated Nice by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.

Milinkovic-savic Sergej scored dual goals

Nice forward Mario Balotelli opened the score in the 4th minute, before seeing Lazio catch up in the 5th minute thanks to Felipe Caicedo. 1-1 at half time. The Biancocelesti eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Milinkovic-savic Sergej ('65, '89).

The result put Lazio top of Group K with 9 points. Nice is second with 6 points. In their next game, Lazio will meet second-placed Nice at the Allianz Riviera on November 2, while Nice will face Lazio.
