Europa League 2017-18 : Lazio beats Nice 1-0

ROME, Nov. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Lazio defeated Nice by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Nice defender Maxime Le Marchand into his own net in stoppage time.

The result put Lazio top of Group K with 12 points. Nice is second with 6 points. In their next game, Lazio will meet Vitesse at the Stadio Olimpico on November 23, while Nice will face Zulte Waregem.
