Europa League 2017-18 : Zulte Waregem beats Vitesse 2-0

ARNHEM, Nov. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Zulte Waregem defeated Vitesse by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the GelreDome in Arnhem.

Zulte Waregem dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Dabo in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Essevee further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kaya in the 70th minute.

The result put Zulte Waregem third in Group K with 4 points. Vitesse is bottom with one point. In their next game, Zulte Waregem will meet second-placed Nice at the GelreDome on November 23, while Vitesse will face Lazio.
