NICE, Nov. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Nice defeated Zulte Waregem by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.

Mario Balotelli scored dual goals

Nice dominated the first half thanks to goals from Balotelli ('5 on penalty, '31). Leading 2-0 at the break, Nice players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tameze Adrien with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Nice second in Group K with 9 points. Zulte Waregem is third with 4 points. In their last game, Nice will meet Vitesse at the Allianz Riviera on December 7, while Zulte Waregem will face Lazio.
