Europa League 2017-18 : Real Sociedad defeats Vardar 6-0

SKOPJE, Oct. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Real Sociedad defeated Vardar by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Philip II Arena in Skopje.

Willian José served up another goal feast

Real Sociedad dominated the first half thanks to goals from Oyarzabal ('12) and José ('34, '42). Leading 3-0 at the break, La Real further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (José '55, '59 and Alberto De La Bella '90).

The result put Real Sociedad second in Group L with 6 points. Vardar is bottom with no points. In their next game, Real Sociedad will meet Vardar at the Philip II Arena on November 2, while Vardar will face Real Sociedad.
