Europa League 2017-18 : Zenit beats RBK 3-1

SAINT PETERSBURG, Oct. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Zenit St Petersburg defeated Rosenborg by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg.

Rigoni Emiliano scored tripple goals

Zenit St Petersburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rigoni Emiliano in the 1st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Blue-White-Sky Blues” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Rigoni Emiliano '68, '75).

The result put Zenit top of Group L with 9 points. RBK is third with 3 points. In their next game, Zenit St Petersburg will meet third-placed Rosenborg at the Krestovsky Stadium on November 2, while Rosenborg will face Zenit St Petersburg.
