Europa League 2017-18 : Real Sociedad beats Vardar 3-0

SAN SEBASTIAN, Nov. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Real Sociedad defeated Vardar by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Anoeta Stadium in San Sebastian.

Real Sociedad dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Juanmi in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Real further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Alberto De La Bella '69 and Bautista '81).

The result put Real Sociedad second in Group L with 9 points. Vardar is bottom with no points. In their next game, Real Sociedad will meet third-placed Rosenborg at the Anoeta Stadium on November 23, while Vardar will face Zenit St Petersburg.
