SAN SEBASTIAN, Dec. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Zenit St Petersburg defeated Real Sociedad by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Anoeta Stadium in San Sebastian.
Zenit St Petersburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Yerokhin in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Blue-White-Sky Blues” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ivanović '64 and Paredes '85).
