Europa League 2017-18 : Dortmund defeats Atalanta 3-2

DORTMUND, Feb. 15, 2018 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Borussia Dortmund defeated Atalanta by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.

Michy Batshuayi scored dual goals

Borussia Dortmund dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder André Schürrle in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, BVB further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Batshuayi '65, '90).

The second leg between Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta will be played on Thursday February 22, 2018 (kick-off: 21:05) in Reggio Emilia.
