Bradford City beats Sunderland to reach FA Cup quarterfinals

BRADFORD, Feb. 15, 2015 (AMP) — FA Cup 2014-15 : Bradford City qualified to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win against Sunderland (halftime: 1-0) on Sunday afternoon at Valley Parade in Bradford.

Bradford City dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Irish defender O'Shea in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bantams further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Stead in the 61st minute.
