Man Utd beats Preston to reach FA Cup quarterfinals

PRESTON, Feb. 16, 2015 (AMP) — FA Cup 2014-15 : Manchester United qualified to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win against Preston (halftime: 0-0) on Monday night.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Herrera ('65), Fellaini ('72) and Rooney ('88 on penalty).
