Arsenal beats Man Utd to advance to FA Cup semifinals

MANCHESTER, Mar. 9, 2015 (AMP) — FA Cup 2014-15 : Arsenal reached the semifinals of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win against Manchester United (halftime: 1-1) on Monday night at Old Trafford.

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal opened the score in the 25th minute, before seeing Manchester United catch up in the 29th minute thanks to Wayne Rooney. 1-1 at half time. The Gunners eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Welbeck in the 61st minute.
