Liverpool beats Blackburn to advance to FA Cup semifinals

BLACKBURN, Apr. 8, 2015 (AMP) — FA Cup 2014-15 : Liverpool reached the semifinals of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win against Blackburn Rovers (halftime: 0-0) on Wednesday night at Ewood Park in Blackburn.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Coutinho in the 70th minute.
