FA Cup 2016-17 : Norwich City hold Southampton to 2-2

NORWICH, Jan. 7, 2017 (AMP) — FA Cup 2016-17 : Norwich City tied 2-2 with Southampton (halftime: 0-1), in the FA Cup third round on Saturday afternoon at Carrow Road in Norwich.

Southampton players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Van Dijk Virgil in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Yoshida Maya goal ('67) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Norwich City with goals by Whittaker Steven ('52 on penalty) and Naismith Steven ('90).
