FA Cup 2016-17 : Wigan Athletic beats Forest 2-0 to qualify for next round

WIGAN, Jan. 7, 2017 (AMP) — FA Cup 2016-17 : Wigan Athletic defeated Nottingham Forest by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the FA Cup third round on Saturday afternoon.

Wigan Athletic dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Grigg Will in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wildschut Yanic in the 57th minute.
