FA Cup 2016-17 : Sutton United beats AFC Wimbledon 3-1 to qualify for next round

Jan. 17, 2017 (AMP) — FA Cup 2016-17 : Sutton United defeated AFC Wimbledon by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-1), in the FA Cup third round on Tuesday night.

AFC Wimbledon had started off well by taking the lead in the 10th minute with a goal by Elliott Tom. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the U's nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Deacon Roarie '75, Biamou Maxime '90 and Fitchett Dan '90).
