Jan. 17, 2017 (AMP) — FA Cup 2016-17 : Burnley defeated Sunderland by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the FA Cup third round on Tuesday night.
Burnley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Vokes Sam in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Burnley players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gray Andre with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
