Dec. 2, 2017 (AMP) — FA Cup 2017-18 : Stevenage defeated Swindon Town by a score of 5-2 (halftime: 3-2), in the FA Cup second round on Saturday afternoon.

Stevenage dominated the first half thanks to goals from Samuel Alex ('18), Godden Matthew ('23) and Pett Thomas ('45). Leading 3-2 at the break, Boro' further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Newton Danny '72, '77).
