International Friendly : France and Chile play out 1-1 draw

MONTPELLIER, Aug. 10, 2011 (AMP) — France tied 1-1 with Chile (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Wednesday night at the Stade de la Mosson in Montpellier.

The Frenchs started off well by taking the lead thanks to French forward Loïc Rémy in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Chile with a saving goal from Córdova in the 77th minute.
