International Friendly : France beats Germany 2-1

BREMEN, Feb. 29, 2012 (AMP) — France defeated Germany by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Wednesday night at the Weserstadion in Bremen.

France dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Olivier Giroud in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Frenchs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Malouda in the 69th minute.
