International Friendly : France beats Iceland 3-2

VALENCIENNES, May. 27, 2012 (AMP) — France defeated Iceland by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 0-2), in a friendly match on Sunday night at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes.

Iceland had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Bjarnason ('28) and Sigþórsson ('34). Trailing 2-0 at half time, the Frenchs nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Debuchy '52, Ribéry '84 and Rami '87).
