International Friendly : Germany beats France 2-1

SAINT DENIS, Feb. 6, 2013 (AMP) — Germany defeated France by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a friendly match on Wednesday night at the Stade de France in Saint Denis.

France had started off well by taking the lead in the 44th minute with a goal by midfielder Mathieu Valbuena. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Germans nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Müller '51 and Khedira '74).
