LONDON, Sep. 3, 2014 (AMP) — England defeated Norway by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a friendly match on Wednesday.

45 minutes of play and neither the Englishs nor the Norvegians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Rooney on penalty in the 68th minute.
