International Friendly : Ireland beats Oman 2-0

DUBLIN, Sep. 3, 2014 (AMP) — Ireland defeated Oman by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Wednesday.

Ireland dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Doyle in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Irishs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pearse with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
