International Friendly : Russia beats Azerbaijan 4-0

KHIMKI, Sep. 3, 2014 (AMP) — Russia defeated Azerbaijan by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a friendly match on Wednesday.

Kerzhakov scored dual goals

Russia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Kerzhakov ('6, '11) and Ignashevich ('41). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Russians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Granat with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
