International Friendly : Uruguay beats Japan 2-0

SAPPORO, Sep. 5, 2014 (AMP) — Uruguay defeated Japan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Friday.

Uruguay dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Cavani in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Uruguayans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hernandez in the 71st minute.
