International Friendly : France defeats Portugal 2-1

SAINT DENIS, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — France defeated Portugal by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Saturday night at the Stade de France in Saint Denis.

France dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Karim Benzema in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Frenchs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pogba in the 69th minute.
