International Friendly : Syria beats Malaysia 3-0

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 12, 2014 (AMP) — Syria defeated Malaysia by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Wednesday afternoon at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

Syria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Sabagh in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Syrians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Malki '47 and Khribin '67).
