OSAKA, Nov. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Japan defeated Australia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a friendly match on Tuesday night at the Nagai Stadium in Osaka.

Australia made the Japaneses doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Konno ('61) and Okazaki ('68).
