International Friendly : El Salvador defeats Nicaragua 2-0

ESTELI, Nov. 18, 2014 (AMP) — El Salvador defeated Nicaragua by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Tuesday night at the Estadio Independencia in Esteli.

El Salvador dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Burgos in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Salvadorans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bonilla with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
