SYDNEY, Jan. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Iran defeated Iraq by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a friendly match on Sunday night at the Stadium Australia in Sydney.

45 minutes of play and neither the Iranians nor the Iraqis have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Azmoun in the 56th minute.
