International Friendly : Iceland beats Canada 2-1

ORLANDO, Jan. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Iceland defeated Canada by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a friendly match on Friday afternoon.

Iceland dominated the first half thanks to goals from Steindorsson ('6) and Vilhjalmsson ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Icelanders further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
