International Friendly : Canada hold Iceland to 1-1

ORLANDO, Jan. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Canada tied 1-1 with Iceland (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Monday afternoon.

The Canadians started off well by taking the lead thanks to De Rosario on penalty in the 30th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Iceland with a saving goal from Fridjonsson on penalty in the 65th minute.
