International Friendly : Iraq beats DR Congo 2-1

SHARJAH, Mar. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Iraq defeated DR Congo by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a friendly match on Saturday night at the Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah.

Ibrahim opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing DR Congo catch up in the 21st minute thanks to Mpoku penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Iraqis eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Tariq in the 72nd minute.
