International Friendly : Iceland defeats Greece 3-2

PIRAEUS, Mar. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Iceland defeated Greece by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-2), in a friendly match on Tuesday night at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus.

Greece had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Fortounis Kostas ('19 on penalty, '31), while Iceland only scored once Traustason Arnor ('34). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Icelanders nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Ingason Sverrir '70 and Sigthorsson Robert '82).
