International Friendly : Belarus beats Ireland 2-1

CORK, May. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Belarus defeated Ireland by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Tuesday night at Turners Cross in Cork.

Belarus dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gordeichuk Mikhail in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Belarusians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Volodko Maksim in the 63rd minute.
