International Friendly : Nigeria defeats Luxembourg 3-1

LUXEMBOURG, May. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Nigeria defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Tuesday night at the Stade Josy Barthel in Luxembourg.

Nigeria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brown Ideye Aide in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Nigerians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Iheanacho Kelechi '69 and Ighalo Odion '90).
