International Friendly : Canada and Azerbaijan play out 1-1 draw

ROHRBACH BEI MATTERSBURG, Jun. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Canada tied 1-1 with Azerbaijan (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Friday night.

The Canadians started off well by taking the lead thanks to Akindele Tesho in the 43rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Azerbaijan with a saving goal from Nazarov Dmitri on penalty in the 58th minute.
