International Friendly : Mexico beats New Zealand 2-1

Oct. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Mexico defeated New Zealand by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Saturday.

Mexico dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dos Santos Giovanni in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Mexicans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fabian Marco in the 56th minute.
