International Friendly : North Korea beats Philippines 3-1

Oct. 10, 2016 (AMP) — North Korea defeated the Philippines by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a friendly match on Monday.

North Korea dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pak Kwang-ryong ('11) and Pak Song-chol ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Koreans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jong Il Gwan in the 68th minute.
